A brief rundown is as follows:

• any PTA approved after July 5th and was applied for on Gunsafe (service NSW) can now come in with their approval on their phone and pick up their firearm.
• There is a "My Documents" Tab on the gunsafe homepage, once you click on that, and verify your details, your digital PTA will appear there. The dealer can then use that to give you your firearm.
• The Info form says that you will recieve an SMS or an e-mail when it is ready, but i recommend checking every now and again.
• If you don't have a service NSW account or applied for it with the old paper forms, You will be mailed your PTAs instead and it will work just like the old system.
• If you don't have a phone, or your dealer is not on the dealer portal (90% of dealers are though) there is a print out option on the digital PTA form, where you can print it out yourself and take it into your dealer.
• Everything else about PTAs is the same, they are still $30 and you still apply for them the same way, this system is simply to make getting your PTA faster.
